The eleventh edition of the Herno Prize
At miart 2026, Herno presented the eleventh edition of the Herno Prize, an initiative that reflects the brand’s deep connection to contemporary art and its commitment to promoting culture.
The international jury, made up of Alessio Antoniolli, Clément Delépine and Vittoria Matarrese, awarded the 10,000 Euro prize to the Mai 36 gallery in Zurich for its exhibition dedicated to the works of Robert Mapplethorpe and Jacopo Benassi, recognising its quality, intergenerational dialogue and museum-calibre presentation.
Established in 2015, the Herno Prize is awarded for the project that best represents exhibition making and display, recognising the pivotal role galleries play in promoting art and telling its stories.
This partnership reaffirms Herno and President Claudio Marenzi's passion for contemporary art, a source of inspiration and creative impulse for the brand. This connection can also be seen in the brand's locations, from its headquarters on Lake Maggiore to Spazio Herno in Milan, where works from the private collection appear in the workplace.
