The surface is decorated under the glaze, with the colour being brushed on before firing: a meticulous, time-consuming process that, once set, reveals a smooth, seamless finish. The base is embellished with the Herno logo and "Handmade, Made in Italy" lettering, distinctive marks of origin and craftsmanship.
